Man Cuffed For Cursing Says Police Violated His 1st Amendment Rights


On June 7th of 2014 a man threatened to sue the Los Angles County Sheriff department in reference to his run in with officers whom violated his 1st amendment rights allegedly.

Richard Pustovrh,24, was in an altercation with his fellow co-workers at his job when they called the police on him. Pustovrh repeated a curse word when authorities warned him not to.When cuffed and taken to a holding cell and charged with disorderly conduct and obscene language he later filed for $100,000 in damages.He was found guilty but the charges were withdrawn when he appealed in court at a later time, he would like money for damages cause by the police.
