Standard

In this case two people met online and agreed to see each other in person.  They met with each other a few times before ending their relationship.  The woman posted on a blog site many malicious comments about the man John B. Wender.  He tried to sue her for defamation but the judge ruled in favor the woman Ms. Silberling.  According to the judge, the statements she posted were not facts but instead just opinionated statements.  It is only considered defamatory if the statements are false but since they are opinions there is no way to ascertain the validity of the content.
